My name is Peter Gruden and I live in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
I work with music, audio, video and electronics. Although I also have a first degree in philosophy, I choose to do some other things in my life too.

I used to play guitar in the band PREDMESTJE end of the 70's.
We did two albums and many recordings which exists only on tapes in archives of Radio Slovenia.
Here is a live performance from a TV music show, recorded more than 25 years ago.

In 1982, with a partner, we built Metro Studio . It was small and it was located in an ancient building with an outdated electrical system. There was a theater in the same building, and we got all sorts of garbage from their light system.
But we were bussy, sometime working day and night.

I was involved in electronics from practical reasons. I bought a Sound Workshop 30 mixing desk 8ch desk in a larger frame. I placed an order for additional channels and had to wait far too long, so I decided to built the channels myself. |

| In 1990 we bought a new place for our studio. We have got Roger Quested to do acoustic design for us. I did complete wiring for the studio and since then I also take care of all technical things in Metro. Then I started to look for a new mixing desk.The only desk I really liked, the Focusrite, was out reach for me by a large magin. So I built my own desk named ALPHA. It took me 4 years. |

VIRTUAL STUDIO is my personal room where I work with digital media. Here, everything lives within a computer: surround audio, video, animation, DVD authoring.

| Steinberg Nuendo is my prefered audio software. I work with MTD, Steinberg distributor in Slovenia. I help to maintain the installed Nuendo systems and I also teach Nuendo in SAE institute in Ljubljana. |
