Audio

Unofficial tour in Metro Studio

On this tour you will not see bananas, oranges and flowers such as on the covers of audio magazines. We don't have that. Instead there are half empty bottles of bear, tobacco, pizza boxes mixed with guitar cables and drum cases with that typical smell...

If you want to see our Tubetechs, Apogees, Summits, Distressors then go to Metro Studio. Almost any studio has these boxes so it is just plain boring looking at them. Instead you'll see here what's different, sometimes unique in Metro Studio.
We'll start in the junk room.

Would you buy this console for your studio?
It's not new but with a bit of work maybe....
There is also an automation system available, including computer.
And for sync to tape, there is an Steinberg synchronizer available, along with an Alesis drum machine and Simmons MTM interface for SDS electronic drums.
Lot of 2" tapes also, and we can provide an electric owen, in case you need to play them.
We leave the junk room, and in the corridor, on the way to the studio back entrance we meet two large wooden boxes. Just above them on the ceiling there is hidden 50 kg/5kW, mains balancing transformer. Our best investment ever, and it won't go out of fasion easily.
Two oldies in the control room: EMT 250 and Lang EQ.
